Darlene Apangalook has worked on traditional arts since she was four years old. She learned from her Siberian Yupik Grandmother and Mother. Her entire family does some form of artwork. Darlene has a college education and is a stay-at-home mom, which she considers to be her most important occupation. So she supplements her income with art and enjoys the process of making it.
