About The Artist
Ruth was borned and raised in Wales, Alaska. She was taught at a young age to skin sew and make traditional clothing by her mother Mary. Her speciality is making seal skin slippers, mukluks, hats and knitted gloves and socks. She also makes baby mukluks, and kuspaks.
